Over ninety percent of the earths animal species are insects. Their structure and behavior make a fascinating study for layman and specialist alike.
WCG is organizing a lecture on 24th March 2019 to introduce these nature’s jewels to nature lovers and to make them to know about mosquitoes in particular.
The topic covers the species diversity, distribution, their life cycle, major diseases transmitting species, pathogens, feeding and resting behaviours, major genus identification, and diseases transmitted. Prevention and Control measures, natural predators and resistance mechanisms.
